My name is Stephanie Davies and I love  to capture the essence of a person, place or thing on canvas .

I was taught to draw by my father as a child and developed different techniques over time by painting portraits for family and friends.  At 15 years old I received my first commission to paint an Appaloosa stallion in Cumbria. Since then I have gone on to paint portraits of children, pets, homes and landscapes. 

I have also created artwork for country clubs and painted to raise money for various charities.

In 2025 I was privileged to be a Wildcard on Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year.
